Felix has been playing since 2011 – in clubs, at corporate events and at weddings. FP-Events came out of that time: two DJ competition wins were the reason to turn playing records into a business.

From the club to the wedding
Felix started out in clubs, and you can still hear it: the records are genuinely mixed, not just played one after another. Wins at the DJ competitions at GoParc Herford and Deja-Vu Verl were the point where a hobby turned into a job – since then he has played less on public nights and mostly at weddings, corporate events and private parties.
The difference between those two worlds is not the music, it is the room. A club holds 300 people who all want the same thing. At a wedding, eighteen and sixty-eight sit at the same table, and both should be dancing. His selection is built for exactly that: the best of today alongside the last forty years, mixed so that nobody feels too old or too young for it.

As the owner, he looks at every enquiry himself
Felix is the owner and founder of FP-Events. Every enquiry crosses his desk: he checks who is free on your date and who suits your celebration. If he is free himself, he plays – and if he is not, he puts you in touch with the DJ from the team who fits.
The call before the day is always with the DJ who will actually be playing – not with an agent passing names along.

We check who is free on your date and suits your celebration, and put the two of you in touch.

In a no-obligation call over FaceTime or Zoom you get to know your DJ and go through the music and the running order with him directly – he is the one who plays on the night.
- 4Event day
We arrive and set up the equipment. After that, the party can start.

All our DJs work on a self-employed basis. FP-Events puts you in touch with the DJ who suits your celebration and is free on your date; the booking is then his own. That is why you deal with him directly from the video call onwards – and he is the one who plays on the night.
