90s party: Eurodance, hip-hop and what pulls

2 min read

Anyone between thirty and forty-five today had their first club night in the 90s. You can see it on the dance floor immediately: with no other decade is the reaction so instant. Which is exactly why you should not use it too early.

Eurodance: the blunt instrument

Eurodance is loud, fast and musically leaves little room – and it works almost every time. The trick is the dose: two or three tracks as a block, then move on.

Hip-hop and R&B

The part of the 90s that also reaches younger guests – and that mixes well with current songs, because the tempo is similar.

When the 90s should come

Not as an opener. The 90s block does its work once the floor is already warm – usually between 11 pm and 1 am. Played too early, you burn the strongest card of the night.
