What we saw there ourselves
A lovely venue, and one with a freedom you do not get everywhere: the food does not have to come from the house, you may bring your own caterer. If you have a particular kitchen in mind, you are considerably freer here than at a venue with its own restaurant.
A Deele is not a function room
The name says it: the Deele is the great hall of an old Lower Saxon farmhouse, a room with history, with timber, height and old beams. That is exactly what makes it beautiful, and exactly what makes it a room you listen to beforehand.
So we arrive early. Setup, measuring and the handover with the catering team happen before the first guests arrive, and whoever walks into the Deele can already hear how the evening will sound.
No curfew, and that matters more than it sounds
The venue states it has neither a curfew nor a volume limit. For the evening that means the peak does not have to be scheduled for half past midnight. We can build the second half of the night more slowly, put the quieter tracks where they belong, and place the final song when the dance floor asks for it.
In practice we still plan an ending. A party that simply fizzles out because the last twenty guests get tired is nobody's favourite memory the next day, whereas a deliberate last song is.

Reception outside, party inside
In good weather the large forecourt is where the reception happens, and the lawns around it are what your photographer will thank you for later. That hour outdoors needs music that carries without anyone having to shout, so a battery speaker comes along that runs without cable or socket.
Inside we set up in parallel. When you come in from outside the gear is standing, tuned to the room and already playing, so nobody walks into a room where cables are still being run.
The package that fits
At up to 130 guests our Plus package is the sensible starting point: sound system, LED tubes and two moving heads whose light only comes into its own at the height of a Deele. If you want to use the full room, Ultra works better, since four tubes and four moving heads fill the length of the hall far more evenly.
Haze is what makes the beams visible in the first place. Whether we use it is agreed with the venue beforehand, because that belongs to the preparation and not to the evening itself.

How many guests fit into Dallmanns Deele?
Public sources state up to 130 people (as of 25 August 2026). How many of those can sit and dance at the same time depends on the seating plan, which is best settled directly with the venue once your guest count is known.
Can we celebrate into the night at Dallmanns Deele?
The venue states it has no curfew and no volume limit. What is binding in the end is what your contract with the venue says, and we build the running order around that time rather than the other way round.
Can we bring our own caterer to Dallmanns Deele?
In our experience from events there, yes, the food does not have to come from the house. That is one of the things that sets this venue apart from places with their own restaurant. Still, get it confirmed in your contract before you book a caterer.
Do you need a special power supply in the Deele?
A normal fused socket near the dance floor is enough for our setup. What matters more than the rating is where it is: we agree the DJ position with the venue beforehand and bring enough cable so nothing runs across the guest area.
