What we saw there ourselves
Gut Lippesee has three venues on one site, for different sizes, and each has its own charm. Ceremonies are possible right by the water. The Holthof has a built-in sound system, and it is quite good. In the Stall and the Holthof our booth always stands downstairs, in the Wassmannshof upstairs or downstairs.
Three rooms, three sizes
At Gut Lippesee you do not pick whichever room happens to be free, but the one that fits your guest list. The Stall is meant for 40 to 60 people, the Wassmannshof for 70 to 140, the Holthof for 100 to 300.
For the music that is an advantage you only notice at the party itself: when room and guest count fit together, the dance floor feels full, and the mood carries itself through the evening.
The Holthof: pale wood, fairy lights, its own system
The Holthof is the largest room on the site. Pale wood and fairy lights under the ceiling make it warm and festive in the evening, and it is laid out on two levels.
The Holthof has a sound system and a lighting system built in, and the sound system is quite good. Where it fits, we play through it instead of setting up our own gear. Which option is better for your evening we settle in the call beforehand, and either way we tune the sound ourselves, by ear to the room.
Where the booth goes
In the Stall and the Holthof our booth always stands downstairs, which in the Holthof means on the lower of its two levels. In the Wassmannshof it can go upstairs or downstairs, depending on how you lay out the room for your party.
The built-in system is in the Holthof. For the Stall and the Wassmannshof we bring our own kit and set it up to suit the size of the room.
A ceremony by the water
At Gut Lippesee an outdoor ceremony is possible right on the lakeshore or, if you prefer it green, in the garden. For the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit we bring our own small battery-powered system if you like, which needs no socket, optionally with a microphone for the officiant or for a singer.
After the yes, the music stays with your guests while you receive their congratulations. That way there is no silent gap between the ceremony and the reception.
Your DJ, your choice
According to the venue, Gut Lippesee ties you to no particular DJ, florist, photographer or cake maker. So you put your own team together, and we agree directly with the venue when we can set up.
