What we saw there ourselves
Gut Ringelsbruch is simply a lovely venue. The food comes from Von Köppen, the restaurant right on the estate, and it is really good. And the whole estate is beautiful. There are two rooms to celebrate in, the vaulted hall and the restaurant. In the vaulted hall our booth always stands opposite the entrance.
A hall under a vaulted ceiling
The large hall has a vaulted ceiling, and that is what gives the room its atmosphere. Our booth always stands opposite the entrance here. A vault reflects sound differently from a flat ceiling, which is exactly why we do not set up the system by formula here but tune it by ear to the room on site.
We arrive in good time before your guests and listen to the empty hall. Later in the evening we adjust once more when every seat is taken, because a full room always sounds different from an empty one.
Vaulted hall or restaurant
Gut Ringelsbruch has two rooms to celebrate in. Besides the large hall there is the Von Köppen restaurant, with 60 seats indoors and, in summer, 42 more in the beer garden in the courtyard. For a smaller wedding that is the right setting, for a large one the vaulted hall.
For the music this means we bring as much kit as the room needs. In the restaurant a smaller system is enough, and we tune it by ear here just as we do in the hall.
Dinner or buffet: both shape the evening
Von Köppen cooks for your wedding right on the estate, as a festive dinner or a relaxed buffet. For the music that is more than a matter of taste. A dinner gives the evening courses and pauses, and the speeches find their place in between. A buffet lets everything flow more freely, and the dance floor often opens by itself.
That is why we ask about your food in the call beforehand, before we talk about songs. We then agree the timings with the estate's team, so the first dance comes exactly when everyone is fed and ready.
First outdoors, then under the vault
At Gut Ringelsbruch you can say yes in the open air, and the estate's outdoor areas have room for a summer reception. For the entrance and the exit we bring our own small battery-powered system if you like, optionally with a microphone for the officiant.
Moving from outside into the hall is a moment of its own in the day. We agree with you beforehand when things continue inside, and then bring your guests in together with the music.
